About the Dermal Filler Procedure
Dermal Fillers are done at Netcare St Augustine’s Hospital as a room procedure. A topical local anaesthetic is used. I only use the safest, well known and popularised brand names.*
I will use slightly different types of dermal fillers depending on what we are trying to improve.
On the lip I use a slightly thinner dermal filler but if I try to fill in deeper wrinkles, I use thicker filler and put it slightly deeper into the skin.

- Dr McGarr uses a topical local anaesthetic that makes the skin numb.
